The Catalyst That Ignited a Passion

Dr. Edward F. Group III was born in Houston, Texas to Joan, a stay at home mom, and Edward Group Jr., a chemist. As a child, Dr. Group excelled at sports and was an avid soccer player. He even led his team to victory at the Texas State Championships.

After his father’s job transfer, young Edward spent his middle and high school years in Louisiana. It was during this time that he developed a profound love of camping, hiking, and the outdoors.
Tragedy struck at an early age when Dr. Group lost both mother and father to cancer, leaving young Edward and his brother Jonathan on their own. These unfortunate events opened Dr. Group’s eyes to the flaws in our modern medical system as well as how much we are all exposed to toxic chemicals in our environment.
In 1985, Dr. Group joined the Army and served in Seoul, South Korea. After three years in the military, he left to pursue his calling in health and wellness. The deaths of his parents had a profound, lasting effect on Edward, and he decided to dedicate his life to helping others avoid similar pain by learning how to treat the root cause of disease.
